Although we like to highlight fashion from the streets of the UK on Fashion Week, occasionally we like to pull some inspiration from the catwalk; but Meadham Kirchhoff is not your average catwalk designer name. The English-French duo of designers is comprised of  Edward Meadham and Benjamin Kirchhoff, both of whom hail from the prestigious St. Martins. It's refreshing to see a designer who doesn't tone everything down to reach the masses, the Meadham Kirchhoff label is very much true to it's own individual style.
Surprisingly the duo's first collection in AW08 was a very boring, neural meeting of boxy cuts and flowing skirts, exactly what you might expect from a St.Martin's graduate, but slowly over the seasons the label has morphed into an exciting, playful and colourful collection up there with the drama and enigmatic tastes of Galliano, Vivienne Westwood and Betsey Johnson.
Their models are often rainbow haired, with pastel make-up and plenty of dramatic touches like coloured eyebrows and butterfly eyelashes.
